21 Then Jotham fled and escaped to Beer, where he remained for fear of his brother Abimelech.
22 When Abimelech had ruled Israel for three years, 23 God put an evil spirit(A) between Abimelech and the lords of Shechem, and the lords of Shechem broke faith with the house of Abimelech.
